BANGOR, Maine —
A batch of cookies seized from a Bangor day care in February after staff got sick tested negative for marijuana, police said.
Police responded to Watch Me Shine Daycare on Feb. 14.
Staff called police after a parent provided several batches of the homemade cookies to them, police said.
Workers reported feeling high after eating them, police said.
The cookies were sent to the Maine Crime Lab for testing, and none of the cookies tested positive for controlled substances, police said Monday.
The cause of the staff feeling intoxicated is currently unknown, police said. There are no charges pending.
No children ate the cookies.
